In 1985, a young rookie by the name of Michael Jeffery Jordan entered the NBA. His exploits at the University of North Carolina were already famous, and the hype surrounding him was high. So high, Nike signed him before he played a single minute of professional basketball AND gave him his own signature shoe, the Air Jordan. The rest, as they say, is history.
On October 18, 2018 the Air Jordan XXXIII will be released. With that knowledge I am setting off to rank all 33 variations of the model, from worst to best. I am coming at these from a sneaker head perspective, though it should also be said, there is a huge difference between the newer models and the retros when it comes to actually playing ball in the shoes. Along with ranking them, I will be giving a favorite color way for each model.
