33. Air Jordan 2012
I don’t know where to begin with this atrocity. Actually designed my the legendary Tinker Hatfield, this shoe should’ve turned out much better than it did. Allegedly taking design cues from an area of Portland, Oregon during the Zoot Suit era of the late 20’s, the Air Jordan 2012 is a mess. It utilized 2 different inner sleeve options for low or high, and had 3 different drop in midsole cushion options. This is the shoe definition of doing too much. The tech was said to be not bad on court, but this shoe is unwearable off court.
Favorite CW: Wolf Grey/Volt
It doesn’t help the AJ 2012 that most of the colorways to release wear utter trash. This one is decent with it’s slight pop of Volt, a color that hadn’t quite taken over yet in 2012.
