Turf Toes: How and Where to get the Travis Scott Air Jordan 6

Estimated Reading Time: 2 Minutes

After multiple successful drops of their incredibly hot collaborations, Nike and Travis Scott’s latest creation is about to hit the market, and let me tell you… people are already going nuts about it.

Cactus Jack’s previous releases caused quite the stir in the sneaker community. His reverse direction swooshes on his Air Jordan 1s have become iconic, and the sky blue of his Jordan 4s has been used to paint nurseries for all the hype beast babies across the globe.

When Travis and Air Jordan get together, sneaker art and sneaker history happen.

The AstroWorld rapper debuted his Jordan 6 collab almost 8 months ago when he played the Super Bowl halftime show with Maroon 5. While the headliner’s frontman, Adam Levine, wore Scott’s breathtaking Jordan 1s, the Houston Hip-Hop artist opted to flex on everyone during the biggest football game of the year.

The Travis Scott Air Jordan 6 features an olive suede upper with an “exterior stow cargo side pocket on the collar” that sits on top of a perforated reflective underlay, that shimmers and flashes when a camera is pointed their way. The “medium olive/university red/black sail” colorway falls perfectly in line with the Houston rager’s Jordan color palette.

The real treat about these shoes? The glow-in-the-dark soles. YEAH. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?

So how do you get your hands on them?

The Travis Scott Air Jordan 6s are dropping via drawing on the Nike SNKRS app on Friday October 11th, 2019 at 10 AM EST. There’s also the possibility for a “Shock Drop,” which is exactly what it sounds like, on Travis’ website. When he dropped a series of merchandise to go along with his latest single “Highest In The Room”, the 2018 Grammy nominee tweeted “DON’T SLEEP THIS WEEK.” A late-night shock drop is expected, you’ve been warned.

StockX, one of the top sneaker reseller sites, is giving customers the chance to win a pair for just a $1 bid. Seriously. As of right now, the Jordan 6s are selling at 380% above retail, and a $1 bid could net you these coveted shoes.

Aside from SNKRS, StockX and Cactus’ site, there are multiple online and in-store raffles for the chance to purchase a pair of your own. Below is a list of those raffles and sites!
