The San Diego Chargers officially announced that they will be moving to Los Angeles beginning in the 2017 season. This move made the San Diego Padres the best and worst professional sports team in San Diego.

The Chargers move to LA also rustled some feathers when they announced their new logo… which is essentially the Dodgers logo.

The Rangers snagged Tyson Ross off of the Free Agent Market giving them a young starter with promise and potential.

Jose Bautista and the Toronto Blue Jays are nearing a contract agreement, says multiple reports. The Free Agent Outfielder has also been in touch with the Baltimore Orioles and the Cleveland Indians, but Toronto would appear to be the front-runner.

The Mariners traded for Rays starter Drew Smyly giving up a bunch of young players including Mallex Smith. The move shows us two things. One: The Mariners are not playing around. Two: The Rays are potentially selling pitching.

Trade talks between the Dodgers and Twins over 2B Brian Dozier have cooled after rumors they were closing in on a deal. The Dodgers have also put it out there that if the dozier deal were to fall through, the backup plan is to go after Ian Kinsler. Whether this is a plow to get the Twins to make a move remains to be seen, but Kinsler was the Dodgers original target at the beginning of the offseason, before Dozier was made available.

The Mets have been asking for two prospects in exchange for Jay Bruce. At this point, they should accept two of anything for Jay Bruce. It was also reported that Sandy Alderson was finding it difficult to trade Curtis Granderson, which is great because HE SHOULD BE TRADING JAY BRUCE.

The Padres inked Yangervis Solarte and Wil Myers to extensions. The most important thing to point out here is that the Padres now have two players who will DEFINITELY be playing for them in 2019.

Bartolo Colon will make $1 million dollars more than the entire Mets starting rotation in 2017. #GOAT

The Athletics inked former Giants closer Santiago Casilla and Ex-Twin Trevor Plouffe to deal, reaffirming that no matter where you’ve been, you can always play for Oakland.

Lots of Players avoided arbitration this weekend. Guys like Matt Harvey, Zach Britton, Bryce Harper and lots more and we’ll talk about that later this week!
