Justin’s World: Top 5 College Games to Watch in Week 5

Last week my picks went 3-2. A big drop-off from a week ago. The good news is my UPSET OF THE WEEK pick came through. Thanks Texas Tech! This now puts me at 15-5 through the first 4 weeks of the season, and 2-2 in upset picks!

Justin’s World: Top 5 College Games to Watch in Week 5

Estimated Reading Time: 6 Minutes

5: BYU(#20) at Washington(#11)

BYU is no stranger to playing in big games on the road, ask Wisconsin. Washington isn’t playing dominant football either. The Cougars however, aren’t particularly great at anything, in fact they rank about middle of the road in almost every category.

What the Cougars are good at is protecting the football and taking their show on the road. BYU prides themselves on running the football with talented RB Squally Canada…yes that’s his name. The point is running games travel well and that has led to the success BYU has seen on the road.

Washington will be a tough test though as Jake Browning is the best QB the Cougars will face up to this point. Washington has the speed to test BYU’s secondary which could be a problem for the upset-minded Cougars. As much as I like BYU, it seems foolish to pick against the home team in this one.

The Huskies are a 17.5 point favorite, which is definitely crazy given how well BYU plays on the road. This game will be close…way closer than two scores. These teams will take the field on Saturday, September 29th at 7:30pm on FOX.

My Prediction: BYU-17 at Washington-20
