NFL Week 10 Picks: Picking up the Pumpkin Pieces

We need to shake off a rough Week 9 and get back to basics

NFL Week 10 Picks: Picking up the Pumpkin Pieces

Estimated Reading Time: 5 Minutes

The leftover jack-o-lanterns from Halloween were not the only orange ovals around last week, as our “picking winners” carriage turned right back into a pumpkin.

This season is still looking good overall, but to get back on track we’re going back to rapid-fire picks this week.

Week 9 = 5-8

Season-to-Date = 69-55-2

Week 10 of the 2021 NFL Season

Atlanta Falcons @ Dallas Cowboys (-9)

I have given up trying to pick Falcons games. So, I will keep picking the Falcons until they stop covering.

The Pick = Atlanta

New Orleans Saints @ Tennessee Titans (-2.5)

Titans can’t keep losing key offensive players and winning football games.

The Pick = New Orleans

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts (-10.5)

Jaguars celebrated their win of the season last week. Now it’s back to going for the #1 pick again.

The Pick = Indianapolis

Cleveland Browns @ New England Patriots (-1.5)

Belichick. Beats. Browns/Baker.

The Pick = New England

Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets (+12)

The Bills offense wakes up, as they beat up on the division rival.

The Pick = Buffalo

Detroit Lions @ Pittsburgh Steelers (-8.5)

The Lions are going to be happier to see Rudolph than Santa on Christmas Eve!

The Pick = Detroit

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Washington Football Team (+9.5)

I like WFT avenging their playoff loss or at least coming close to that.

The Pick = Football Team

Carolina Panthers @ Arizona Cardinals (-10.5)

Is “6.0” the IMDB rating for “Superman Returns” or the best yards per completion stat the Panthers can hope for from their new/returning QB Cam Newton?

The Pick = Arizona

Minnesota Vikings @ Los Angeles Chargers (-2.5)

Call the Vikings “the New England Foliage” because their season is about to be over.

The pick = Los Angeles

Philadelphia Eagles @ Denver Broncos (-3)

I’m winless picking games when coaches miss the game. Time to zag.

The Pick = Denver

Seattle Seahawks @ Green Bay Packers (-3.5)

I refuse to give either quarterback the satisfaction.

The Pick = Green Bay

Kansas City Chiefs @ Las Vegas Raiders (+2.5)

I wish I could pick neither team. I’m back on picking against the Chiefs until they cover a game.

The Pick = Las Vegas

Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers (+4)

Adding OBJ and Von Miller is going to be great for the Rams long-term, but a transition period, in the beginning, should be expected.

The Pick = San Francisco

And that’s how you get back on a winning streak.

Let’s go!

Terry is from Massachusetts and is a passionate fan of the Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox and Bruins. He also will admit he only pays attention to Syracuse basketball when they're good. If there's a Twitter trade rumor even remotely associated with one of his teams, he's likely fallen for it. Finally, he believes 100% that if the Celtics had beaten the Heat in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals they would have swept the Thunder in the Finals.
