NFL Week 18: Bonus Week!

Estimated Reading Time: 6 Minutes

EXHALE! I mean, am I right?

On top of EVERYTHING else going on right now, we had to pick 18(!) weeks of games here.

But we are almost there. Just one final attempt to go 16-0 (spoiler: we didn’t).

There’s a ton of playoff implications this week, and the Turf has you covered for all the AFC and NFC scenarios.

We also have you covered with all of Week 18 winners.

Last Week = 9-7

Season-to-Date = 131-106-2

Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncs (+10) – Saturday @ 430pm ET (L)

Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles (+7) – Saturday @ 815pm ET

1-for-2. Fine with it.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns (+1.5)

The Pick = Cleveland

Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions (+3.5)

I will happily take the chance to pick Detroit one final time.

The Pick = Detroit

Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings (-3.5)

I think the players on the Bears who will be back next season want to end this season with pride. I don’t the Vikings have the same zest for finishing off the year.

The Pick = Chicago

Washington Football Team @ New York Giants (+7)

After the last matchup I think New York is looking for payback.

The Pick = New York

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars (+15.5)

Indy will win, but I think Jacksonville keeps it a lot closer than the spread.

The Pick = Jacksonville

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens (-5.5)

I think the Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger had their walk off into the sun moment last week.

The Pick = Baltimore

Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans (+10.5)

Vrabel won’t let this team take their foot off the gas when they can keep the #1 seed.

The Pick = Tennessee

New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons (+4.5)

I am very thankful I no longer need to pick a game involving the 2021 Atlanta Falcons after this.

The Pick = New Orleans

New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills (-16.5)

Just like the Indy game, I think the Bills win. I just think the pressure of holding off the Pats for back-to-back division titles causes this to be a tighter game than expected.

The Pick = New York

New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins (+6.5)

The Pats want to go into the playoffs riding high. The Dolphins likely won’t mind if a loss here allows them an easier path to moving on from Tua.

The Pick = New England

Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8.5)

Too much of a distracting week for Tampa to win this as easily as the spread suggests.

The Pick = Carolina

San Francisco 49ers @ Los Angeles Rams (-4.5)

The Rams take the opportunity to pick on a Trey Lance-led 49ers team and avenge their recent history vs. San Francisco.

The Pick = Los Angeles

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals (-6.5)

I do not see any magic for Seattle in what could be Russell Wilson’s last game as a Seahawk.

The Pick = Arizona

Los Angeles Chargers @ Las Vegas Raiders (+3)

The Pick = Los Angeles

It’d be a fitting end to the Raiders season to lose a playoff spot at the last possible moment.

And the 2021 season’s picks are over and done with.

What? You want me to do the playoffs too???

(Editor’s Note: Yes. Yes, we do, Terry! Congratulations on a fantasy season, Mad Dog! You crushed it!)

Terry is from Massachusetts and is a passionate fan of the Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox and Bruins. He also will admit he only pays attention to Syracuse basketball when they're good. If there's a Twitter trade rumor even remotely associated with one of his teams, he's likely fallen for it. Finally, he believes 100% that if the Celtics had beaten the Heat in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals they would have swept the Thunder in the Finals.
