One thing people say about me, is that I know fashion. Style, panache, chic-ness? I got it.
My favorite look? T-shirt over a long-sleeved tee. Classic, simple, elegant.
But I also know when the ‘fit misses the mark’, like when I wore a Patriots hat and a Kevin Durant Sonics jersey to Orlando’s Epcot Center.
This well-rounded view makes me the ideal person at The Turf to weigh in on this weekend’s biggest question.
Which Super Bowl matchup would produce the most aesthetically pleasing uniform pairing?
Let’s rank all four.
#4 Chiefs (Red Jersey/White Pants/Yellow Accent) vs. Buccaneers (White Jersey/Black Pants/Red Accent)
Gross. No thank you. This is just red and white clashing all over. And you know what? I don’t need yet another reminder that I still don’t feel comfortable shopping at Target. So, keep this one, I’m all set.
#3 Bills (White Jersey/Blue Pants/Red Accent) vs. Packers (Green Jerseys/Yellow Pants/White Accent)
I don’t like it. It’s the blue pants. They are clownish and the Super Bowl is a serious game for serious people. Exactly like these rankings.
#2 Bills (Blue Jersey/White Pants/Red Accent) vs. Buccaneers (White Jersey/Black Pants/Red Accent)
Strong USA vibes here. And to be honest, I think we could use that a little bit right now. The black pants for Tampa keep this from the top spot. Almost like a reminder of the last four years that’s too close to home.
#1 Chiefs (White Jersey/Red Pants/Yellow Accent) vs. Green Bay (Green Jersey/Yellow Pants/White Accent)
Now here we go. This is what my friend PJ would call a “great looking Super Bowl”. Just a real nice mesh between the two teams’ patterns with the white/red jerseys of the Kansas City gentlemen complementing the hell out of the Packers’ green jerseys.
Did you agree with these rankings? Maybe not.
But I think we can all agree on one thing.
I 100% know what I am talking about.
