Since Aaron Rodgers became the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers in 2008, did you know that the Seahawks have never defeated the Packers at Lambeau Field?

That’s right, the Seahawks have an 0-4 record when facing Rodgers at Lambeau. But also, during that same time, the Seahawks have a 3-1 record at home when facing Rodgers and the Pack.

This Thursday, the Packers and Seahawks will face each other in what should be another good Thursday Night game at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Both these teams have been a bit up-and-down this season, as thePackers are 4-4-1 and the Seahawks sit at 4-5 currently in a two-game losing streak. Both these defenses have been decent this season, but Green Bay is not all that great at stopping the run in particular.

With JD McKissic on the IR, and Chris Carson likely to be out for this game, Rashaad Penny could have another big game this week. Last week he posted 108 yards rushing on 12 carries and also found the end zone for a TD. I expect him to have another good game against the Packers this week, and he could end up being the difference-maker. For fantasy owners out there, who need a waiver wire pickup at RB, you should take a hard look at Penny as an option.

I think the Packers’ season still needs saving, but this is a tough match-up for Green Bay, and they also have been terrible on the road as they’re still trying to find their first road win (0-4). Seattle has been knocking on the door of some good competition in recent weeks. This past week they nearly beat the Rams again, losing by 5. The week prior, they lost to the Chargers by 8. This season, two of Seattle’s five losses have been against the Rams, and the Seahawks have lost to their opponents by an average of just 5 points.

I like the Seahawks to get back to .500, and I think this willbe the week when Mike McCarthy’s seat starts to get REALLY warm.

Seahawks win, 28-24.
