This week’s title is two-fold. On the one hand, several COVID cases in the NFL has caused the postponement of games to Tuesday. Also, it’s the last work week before the Christmas/New Year’s break.
I’m what the French call “clever”.
Last Week = 8-5
Season-to-Date = 105-87-2
The 15th Week of the 2021 NFL Season
New England Patriots @ Indianapolis Colts (-2.5)
I made this pick yesterday afternoon (there’s a tweet to prove it), and it pained me to do so. I still have nightmares from Frank Reich’s game plan for the Philly offense in the Super Bowl. I also liked the spread being under 3.
As I’m writing this the score is 7-0 Indy and Rhamondre Stevenson just ran into Isiah Wynn… Oh, the Colts just blocked a punt and it’s 14-0. Good for me.
The Pick = Indianapolis
[The rest of the picks will be brought to you by my pissy mood]
Carolina Panthers @ Buffalo Bills (-10.5)
Josh Allen supposedly is healthy and if the Bills are going to make any noise the rest of the season they really need to beat up a sub-par team.
Enter the Panthers.
The Pick = Buffalo
New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins (-9.5)
The Jets stink.
The Pick = Miami
Arizona Cardinals @ Detroit Lions (+13)
I’ve told you before, I like how Detroit comes to play despite such poor results each week for them.
The Pick = Detroit
Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants (+10.5)
I didn’t research this, but I live under the assumption that the Giants always play well in Dallas and the Cowboys always play well in New York.
The Pick = Dallas
Tennessee Titans @ Pittsburgh Steelers (+1.5)
One last gasp for the Steelers to be a playoff team?
The Pick = Pittsburgh
Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars (-3.5)

The Pick = Jacksonville
Green Bay Packers @ Baltimore Ravens (+5.5)
I’m just gonna gamble that Lamar doesn’t play and Rodgers does.
The Pick = Green Bay
Cincinnati Bengals @ Denver Broncos (-2.5)
I know the Bengals are struggling, but I just don’t like this Broncos team.
The Pick = Cincinnati
Atlanta Falcons @ San Francisco 49ers (-9)
Here’s what I want to do. I want to pick the 49ers. They are riding high from that OT win vs. Cincy. Kittle looks like one of the best weapons in the NFL.
Here’s my problem. I always pick the Falcons games wrong. So…
The Pick = Atlanta
New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-10.5)
I normally don’t like double-digit divisional spreads, but I really don’t like when a head coach misses the game.
The Pick = Tampa Bay
Ideally, we wouldn’t still be delaying with COVID-related delays in 2021. But, let’s just try and have some fun with it! Enjoy the games!
